Packaging Requirements
The number-one reason cosmetic cargo is rejected at the terminal is a leak in transit. We rebuild packing so it survives aircraft vibration and temperature swings.
We also advise on carton density: cosmetics are often light, so under-filled cartons inflate volumetric weight. Our warehouse consolidates your SKUs into well-packed export cartons that keep chargeable weight close to actual weight, then stacks them on a single pallet alongside compatible dry goods such as apparel to reduce the per-kg cost. Glass-heavy lines are flagged at quote stage because they carry a small handling surcharge and need extra corner protection.

What we check at handover
We inspect seals, weigh and dimension the carton, confirm no glass is unprotected, and label outer cases with "This Way Up" and liquid-handling marks where required. We also combine cosmetic cartons with dry cargo like apparel on the same pallet to save cost.

Compliance note: non-hazardous creams and lotions ship as general cargo once an MSDS confirms they are not flammable or corrosive. Perfume, alcohol toners and solvent-based make-up are handled as limited-quantity dangerous goods under IATA rules. We require an MSDS/SDS for every liquid line. Can creams, serums and lotion be shipped by air from China?
Yes. Non-hazardous creams, serums, moisturisers and body lotion are common air cargo, flying as general or mildly sensitive goods once leak-proof packing and an MSDS confirm they are not flammable or corrosive.
Why is perfume different from face cream for air freight?
