Electronics cargo

What We Ship

Electronics are high-value and easy to damage. Our Shenzhen warehouse treats every shipment as fragile first, then optimises the carton or crate for cost.

LED screens & displays

Indoor/outdoor LED panels, screens, aluminium profiles, LED strips and DMX decoders — flat-packed or upright crated.

UV flatbed printers

Industrial UV flatbed and digital printers, heads secured, palleted and crated for flight.

Vacuum cleaners

Corded and cordless vacuum units; cordless models handled with their battery documented.

Small appliances

Fans, heaters, kitchen gadgets and personal care devices in retail cartons.

Audio & speakers

Speakers and motors screened for magnetic fields where required.

Accessories & parts

Power adapters, cables, controllers and replacement boards — dense, compact cartons.

Packing

Fragile & High-Value Packing

Most electronics damage happens in handling, not in the air. We remove the weak points before the cargo reaches the ramp.

LED walls and advertising panels are especially unforgiving: a cracked module often means a full screen is out of service, so we keep panels upright in their factory flight cases, add foam between units, and label each carton with the panel size and orientation. UV flatbed printers need their carriage locked and the ink system drained or sealed before flight. Because these consignments are high value, we also recommend optional all-risk cargo protection rather than relying on standard carrier liability, which is limited by convention.

How we protect it

  • Factory carton + double wall over-carton for screens
  • Foam bracing around the LED face / glass panel
  • Print heads and moving parts locked or removed
  • Crating and palletising for heavy printers
  • "Fragile / This Way Up" and orientation labels

Value & density

Screens and printers are light but large, so volumetric weight often dominates — see dimensional weight explained. We also offer optional cargo protection so high-value units are covered in transit. Cargo protection →

Battery units

Battery-Powered Units — Compliance Note

Compliance note: cordless vacuum cleaners, rechargeable speakers and other devices containing lithium batteries must be shipped under IATA DGR with a UN38.3 test summary and MSDS. We verify the battery paperwork before acceptance — see battery shipping and sensitive cargo. Undeclared batteries, damaged units and prohibited items are never accepted — see what can I ship.

FAQ

Electronics Shipping Questions

Can LED screens and displays be shipped by air from China?
Yes — LED panels, screens, aluminium profiles, LED strips and DMX decoders are frequent cargo, flat-packed or upright-crated, and billed partly on volumetric weight because screens are light but large.
How are UV flatbed and digital printers packed for air freight?
Heads and moving parts secured, ink cartridges removed or sealed, and the unit braced to a pallet frame. Heavy printer bodies usually bill on actual weight. Related: machinery.
Do electronics that contain a battery need special handling?
Yes — cordless vacuums, speakers and rechargeable devices carry a lithium battery that must be documented under IATA DGR. See battery shipping.
